Ted Yonker is a native of the Grand Haven and Spring Lake area. As any normal young man he worked with his older brother for a short period of time in the family business which was located in the Spring Lake/ Ferrysburg area. The Yonker family owned and operated the gas station which was very well known throughout the community.
When Ted became an adult he become a member of the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department where he would spend the next 22 years of his life serving his community and protecting it as well. Ted reflects back on how his time on the force was one of the best learning experiences in his life time. The most excellent memory that he has is when President George H. Bush was driving through the county and how it made him feel privileged to be a part of that moment.
When Ted retired from the department he felt that there was more he could do with his time. He took on small jobs here and there around the community. One day he was informed about a company named Sparkle Wash International Washing & Restoring Company. He worked for the company for a time, then he decided to start his own business and dedicate his time getting back into the work force and build an outstanding reputation in the community to go to if someone needs a power washing service. So you may ask yourself what makes Sparkle Wash of Ottawa County the best. It is the man behind the business who has dedicated his life to the community and is dedicated to the people of the community. Ted is devoted to the city of his youth, he is also a very professional business man and is willing to do whatever it takes to serve his community and keep it clean.
